The Chillproof material is a unique 3-layer composite material that offers the thermal properties of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit but without many of the drawbacks of traditional wetsuits. It is windproof and has a breathable 10K+ membrane that stops wind chill, keeps you warm, and regulates your body temperature to avoid overheating. The hollow fibre ‘next to skin’ fleece provides warmth, comfort, and superior moisture-wicking properties, ensuring that you stay dry and comfortable throughout your water activities.

The Chillproof Hood has a nylon/spandex outer layer that offers superior durability and abrasion resistance. Its Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish provides a protective shell that ‘sheds’ water, keeping you dry and comfortable. The 4-way stretch ensures that the garment is non-restrictive, allowing for a full range of movement and making it easy to get on and off. The non-chaffing, itch, and odor-resistant properties of the garment mean that it can be worn for long periods of time without discomfort.

The Chillproof Hood is neutrally buoyant, so there is no need to add extra weight when diving. It has SPF50+ sun protection, protecting your skin from harmful UV rays and avoiding skin damage and melanoma.
