Kids Fins
Introducing your children to the water is made easy with the purchase of swim fins from Oceansports. Kids fins can be used for swimming, diving or snorkelling. Selecting the correct size of your kids fins is essential for a pleasant water experience. We recommend you follow our care instructions to maximize the lifespan of the kids swim fins.
How to prevent damage to your kids swim fins:
Moving with swim fins on can be done in a way that prevents them from becoming damaged. To do this, walk in short, even steps either backwards or forwards, with your feet flat on the ground and without bending or scuffing the blades. Moving backwards with your kids fins is the easier option, however, caution should be taken to avoid tripping.
Never tug on the front part of the foot pocket in order to put the fins on your feet, as this could damage the rubber around the toes. Additionally, do not use the back of the foot pocket to pull on the fins, as that could tear the foot pocket. Additionally, it is not advisable to use the fins to hold your weight while in the water, and be sure not to bend the blades of the kids fins too much when seated, as this could cause them to break.
Fitting your kids swim fins correctly:
Put three fingers in each side of the foot area and your thumbs in the center of the heel space, then bend back. Put your foot in the pocket until it fits and is comfortable. Wrap the upper part of the pocket around the heel.
