This  Cressi mask and snorkel set is a combination of two excellent ranges: the  comfortable Quantum Mask and the Itaca Ultra Dry Snorkel.

The major innovation with the Quantum mask is that as well as offering enhanced downwards vision it avoids the fogging phenomenon through the internal thermoregulation of the warm, damp air exiting the nose. This air is channelled by a system of membranes set in the moulding around the eyes and nose and deviating the flow towards the silicone skirt rather than the lenses.

The external part of the skirt features a cooling system composed of two small heat exchangers that act as radiators. The effect is that the temperature inside mask drops, coming closer to the external temperature and the droplets of humidity are trapped before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up.

Despite the presence of the small internal membranes deviating the air flow and the external heat exchangers, the body of the Quantum mask is nonetheless compact and represents one of the most advanced designs offered on the underwater vision market.

The Itaca Ultra Dry Snorkel is part of Cressi’s exclusive Atelier Range. These products are the ultimate in quality and design, and will be a fantastic choice for divers of any skill level. The Itaca Ultra Dry is made with an internationally patented dry guard which will keep water out of the snorkel on the surface and while submerged.

The soft silicone mouthpiece is ergonomically angled and the lower part of the snorkel is corrugated to ensure a comfortable fit while reducing jaw fatigue. The corrugation also allows the mouthpiece to drop away from your face while not in use.

The angle of the snorkel allows better water drainage to the bottom, where it can be instantly cleared through the purge valve.

The clip to secure to the mask has a quick release so it can be removed easily while not in use or while storing the snorkel.
